Art Empires 0.19.0: Raids between players

Sep 17, 2026

Art Empires 0.19.0 is live. Raid your neighbours, defend your cities with a deck and a Town Wall, and play the battle yourself when both of you are online.

  • Raids between players. Send a deck at a neighbour from their city page and choose the ships. The defender is told the moment it sails, and raids on one city queue.
  • Post a deck to defend each city from its Defence box. A city with no posted deck defends with any free deck of yours, or with its Town Wall alone.
  • When a raid lands, both players are offered the controls for sixty seconds. If both take them, you play it live with a turn clock and choose opening hands at the same time; anyone who does not is played by their deck's playstyle.
  • Loot leaves the defender's store as it is loaded and reaches the attacker when the fleet is home. An attacker can cast off before loading is done.
  • New accounts are protected from raids for their first days, shown by a dove beside the town's name. Attacking another player ends it.
  • The PvP leaderboard ranks players by raids won, with Attacker and Defender records.
  • Your General lists raids you sent and raids on your cities as soon as they are fought, with a loading countdown and a replay, and counts down to the next raid in the menu, red when one is coming at you.
  • Choose a deck's playstyle: Automatic, Aggro, Midrange or Control. It plays any side nobody is controlling.
  • Replays can be paused and stepped a turn at a time.
  • Open a neighbour's city and send them resources from your Port.
  • Archive a Diplomat conversation, and reply with OK, a thumbs up, a Deal sign or no picture.
  • The menu lists each city's buildings under it.
  • The deck editor shows the deck's mana curve beside its name.
  • Choose how many settlers sail with an expedition, up to what the new city's Town Hall supports.
  • The Town Wall is the only target an attack may take until it falls, and grows more slowly with its level.
  • Overgrown Gallery raids are fought by hand, with no autoplay or skip.
  • Battles animate more: targets rise when a minion picks one, hits shake what they strike, destroyed cards shake before they leave, and played cards float between the boards before landing.
  • A live battle pauses five seconds between turns so the last turn can finish playing out.
  • Building pages put the level in the title, what a level buys above its price, and both buttons on one row. The upgrade rebate is shown as a figure.
  • The Port sends its hold with one button per city, names both ends of a shipment and links them, and steps amounts by 1k.
  • Island addresses read as Island at 48:27.
  • A gallery card shows its worth as satisfaction.
  • Public profiles lay out leaderboard ranks in columns on phones and tablets.
  • A Statehouse level now costs the same as the same Capitol Building level.
  • The Diplomat's reply box empties after sending, and Send stays off until there is something to send.
