Art Empires 0.21.0: Every town's copy of a building, one press away
Sep 17, 2026
Art Empires 0.21.0 is live. A building's page lists that building in each of your towns, every city's menu opens on its island, and a raid on a player who is not there can be played by hand.
Added
- A building's page carries a row of the towns where you have one, with the level each has reached. Press one to read that town's. A town with two Storehouses shows both.
- The list under a city in My empire opens with Island at its address, drawn with that island's own tile from the world map.
- Your Diplomat has a sheepish face to send, and the emotion picker is a grid that fits the screen you are on.
Changed
- When you raid someone who has not played in a long time, you can take the controls and play the match yourself. Their deck plays their side. Against everyone else, you still play by hand only if they do too.
Fixed
- Your advisor no longer asks you to upgrade a Statehouse your crews are already building to that level.
- Generate with AI on the submit form answers again, and a reply is no longer thrown away for using a word like bearer.
- The options in a dropdown are drawn in your colour scheme, so they can be read in dark mode.
Art Empires is my city-building empire game you play in your browser, and every card in it is a deviation submitted by the artist who made it. Play Art Empires at ArtEmpires.com, or read the full changelog.
