Art Empires 0.38.0: Claim your DeviantArt exclusives

Sep 30, 2026

Art Empires 0.38.0 is live. If you bought a card's art as an exclusive on DeviantArt, you can now claim the only copy of its Unique edition in the game.

  • Open a card's details to see whether its art is sold as an exclusive on DeviantArt, and who owns it. If you bought it, connect your DeviantArt account and press Make this card your exclusive. You get the only copy of a one-mana-stronger Unique edition, and nobody can print the card any more.
  • Unique cards show on the Cards page under the Unique filter, and on their owner's profile. They are drawn in gold.
  • A card's details list every edition it has been printed in, newest first.
  • The City Planner list sits at the bottom of every upgrade panel, and Add to plan is offered even on builds the city could start now.
  • A web address in a diplomat message is a link. A link to anywhere but this game or DeviantArt asks before it opens.
  • Whoever moves second in a battle is handed The Advance, a free Action that gives mana on the turn you play it, in place of an extra mana at the start.
  • Automatic looks ahead through combinations of cards, attacks and your Signature before each move, and the fixed styles weigh effects on both boards and save removal for real threats.
  • Card costing is recalibrated for random targets, removal, collateral damage and self-damage, and the submission form shows each adjustment. A recurring Location is rounded once across its three turns, so it costs less.
  • A card you drop on the board is played on screen at once, and the mana bar drops by its cost while the move is answered.
  • An upgrade price's wood or trade good icon links to the building that makes it.
  • Player names in a conversation link to their profiles.
  • Submit this card on a starter card from the wanted list fills in the whole card.
  • The print pack's price is in its button, and the platinum pay buttons show the coin.
  • Artists' DeviantArt avatars on their cards stay current without them signing in again.
  • Print pack can no longer be pressed twice while a print is under way.
  • A long card name no longer stretches its card on the Art Gallery wall.
